Starlight Beds is a mattress manufacturer and online shop based at Royds Mill in Ossett, West Yorkshire. It began in 2009 under the name Snuggledown Beds, and the business is run by Starlight Beds Limited (Companies House 07071241), which is registered for mattress manufacture. The brand's story page says it joined The Sleep People in 2014, the same year it moved to a bigger factory.
Mattresses come in UK sizes from a 2ft6 shorty (75 x 175 cm) and small single up to a 5ft king (150 x 200 cm), and in European small single, single, double and king sizes up to 160 x 200 cm. The shop's store listing describes its mattresses as handmade to order, and the story page counts 12 distinct mattress models in the collection.
Starlight Beds' shipping table lists free UK delivery taking 3 to 7 days, plus a £15 standard rate with 2 to 4 day delivery for parcels weighing 32 to 35 kg. Isle of Man addresses also get free delivery, though it can take 3 to 17 days. Delivery questions go to help@starlightbeds.co.uk.
A mattress buyer has 14 days from delivery to say they want to cancel, then a further 14 days to send it back. The plastic hygiene seal has to be unbroken: an opened mattress is treated as used and is only refunded if it is faulty. Bed bases, ottomans included, carry a 14-day notice period and must come back in their original condition. Return costs fall on the buyer, and when Starlight Beds arranges a collection, its fee is taken off the refund. Refunds go to the original payment method within 14 days of the return arriving.
The customer service line, 01924 600683, is staffed from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
