Thompson & MorganGrow Your Own Fruit - Blueberry Collection - 9cm Potted Plant X 4 - Summer Fruiting

Elevate your garden with the Fruit Blueberry Duo! This dynamic pairing of Blueberry 'Duke' and 'Bluecrop' ensures not only a bountiful harvest but also adds ornamental charm to your outdoor space. Experience the joy of cross-pollination as these varieties work in harmony to produce the heaviest crops, promising a plentiful supply of delicious blueberries. Delight in the sight and scent of white bell-shaped flowers in spring, drawing in pollinators, and revel in the fiery hues of autumn foliage, creating a picturesque backdrop in your garden. With a height and spread of 150cm (59”), these shrubs make a stunning addition to any landscape, whether planted in the ground or in containers on your patio . Indulge in the delectable fruits of Blueberry 'Duke', an early to mid-cropping variety boasting firm, sweet berries that retain their freshness longer than most. Meanwhile, 'Bluecrop' offers richly flavoured fruit in abundance during mid-season, complemented by elegant white spring flowers and vibrant foliage against red stems in winter. Cultivate these blueberry beauties in well-drained, acidic soil, basking in sunlight or partial shade. For areas lacking acidic soil, opt for patio containers filled with a blend of ericaceous compost and John Innes No. 3. Water with rainwater to maintain soil acidity, protect developing fruits from birds with netting, and prune out the oldest stems annually to promote new growth and maintain plant health.
