Thompson And Morgan Crocus Dutch White 80 Bulbs Inc

Crocus 'Dutch White' produces large, goblet-shaped flowers in pure white, with golden throats and bright stamens. These hardy spring-flowering bulbs create a fresh and striking display, adding early colour to the garden. Unlike smaller, earlier Crocus varieties, these large Dutch Crocus are particularly robust and readily naturalise through lawns and grass. They are also ideal for perennial borders, beneath deciduous trees and shrubs, rockeries and patio containers. For a colourful spring display, combine Crocus 'Dutch White' with other early-flowering bulbs such as daffodils, snowdrops, Iris reticulata and winter aconites. Once established, these reliable bulbs can return year after year with little maintenance. How to Grow Grow Crocus 'Dutch White' in any well-drained garden soil in full sun or semi shade. Plant spring-flowering Crocus bulbs during autumn in large clumps at a depth of approximately 10cm (4") and space them around 7cm (3") apart. Alternatively, grow the bulbs in containers or naturalise them in grass. After flowering, allow the strap-like foliage to die back naturally. If Crocus are naturalised in grass, avoid mowing the area until the foliage has completely died back. Height: 15cm (6in). Spread: 5cm (2in).
