Thompson And Morgan Daffodil Bulbicodum 32 Bulbs Inc:, Yellow

Narcissus bulbocodium, also known as Hoop-Petticoat Daffodil, is a distinctive dwarf daffodil with rounded, flaring trumpet-shaped cups. Single golden-yellow flowers appear on individual stems above neat clumps of fine, grassy foliage, creating an attractive spring display. This compact Narcissus is ideal for rockeries, alpine gardens and the front of borders, where its unusual flowers can be appreciated up close. It also looks excellent naturalised in lawns or informal areas of grass, where it can create a colourful spring display year after year. How to Grow Plant Narcissus bulbocodium bulbs in moist, well-drained soil in full sun or semi shade. Plant the bulbs approximately 10cm (4") deep and 10cm (4") apart. For the best effect, plant them in groups or drifts through borders and informal areas of grass. For a natural-looking display, scatter the bulbs across the planting area and plant them where they land. Allow the foliage to die back naturally after flowering to help the bulbs build up energy for the following year. Height: 15cm (6"). Spread: 5cm (2").
