Thompson And Morgan Daffodil Bella Vista 16 Bulbs Inc:, White

Narcissus 'Bella Vista' is a cheerful spring-flowering daffodil, producing large, outward-facing white blooms with contrasting dark orange cups. The bright flowers create an eye-catching display in the garden and are particularly effective when planted in bold groups. With strong, upright stems that are less likely to droop in wet weather, 'Bella Vista' is a reliable choice for spring borders and containers. The showy flowers also make excellent cut flowers for creating attractive early spring bouquets indoors. How to Grow Plant Narcissus 'Bella Vista' bulbs outdoors in October or November, with the pointed end facing upwards. Choose a sunny or semi-shaded position with moist, free-draining soil and plant the bulbs approximately 10cm (4") deep. For the best display, plant daffodil bulbs in groups or drifts through borders or informal areas of grass. For a natural-looking effect, scatter the bulbs across the planting area and plant them where they land. Daffodils can also be grown indoors in containers of bulb fibre. Place the containers in a cool, dark and well-ventilated position at a maximum temperature of 10°C (50°F). Water as required to keep the compost moist. Once shoots reach around 10cm (4") tall, move the containers to a cool, bright position indoors at approximately 16°C (60°F). After flowering, allow the foliage to die back naturally before removing it in June or July. This helps feed the bulb for the following year's flowers. Height: 40cm (16"). Spread: 15cm (6").
