Narcissus 'Adriana Geertruida' is a classic yellow daffodil that produces cheerful, wavy-edged trumpets surrounded by broad, slightly reflexed petals. This small, early to mid-season flowering variety also has a sweet fragrance, making it a lovely addition to spring displays. Its compact size makes it ideal for planting in containers close to the house, along the front of borders or beside pathways. The bright yellow flowers also make excellent cut flowers for spring vase arrangements. How to Grow Plant Narcissus 'Adriana Geertruida' bulbs in moist, well-drained soil in full sun or semi shade. Plant the bulbs approximately 10cm (4") deep and 10cm (4") apart, ideally in groups or drifts for the best display. Daffodil bulbs can also be naturalised in lawns and informal areas of grass. For a natural-looking display, scatter the bulbs across the planting area and plant them where they land. For indoor displays, plant daffodil bulbs in containers of bulb fibre and place them in a cool, dark and well-ventilated position at a maximum temperature of 10°C (50°F).
