Thompson And Morgan Daffodil ''cornish'' Niveth 32 Bulbs Inc:, White

Narcissus 'Cornish Niveth' is a simple and elegant daffodil that produces wide, gleaming white flowers with gently reflexed petals and delicately crimped edges. The flowers are often borne in pairs, creating a lovely display above the foliage, with a light fragrance on warm spring days. This hardy daffodil is ideal for planting in generous groups at the front of borders, where the pure white blooms create a bright spring display. It also works beautifully mixed with yellow daffodil varieties for contrasting colour and makes a charming cut flower for spring arrangements. How to Grow Plant Narcissus 'Cornish Niveth' bulbs in any moist, well-drained soil in full sun or semi shade. Plant the bulbs approximately 10cm (4") deep and 10cm (4") apart. For the best effect, plant in groups or drifts through borders and informal areas of grass. For a natural-looking display, scatter the bulbs across the planting area and plant them where they land. Daffodils can also be grown indoors in containers of bulb fibre. Place containers in a cool, dark and well-ventilated position at a maximum temperature of 10°C (50°F), watering sparingly to keep the compost moist. Once the shoots reach approximately 10cm (4") tall, move indoor containers to a cool, bright position at around 16°C (60°F). After flowering, allow the foliage to die back naturally before removing it in June or July. This helps feed the bulb for the following year's flowers. If naturalised in grass, avoid mowing until the foliage has completely died back. Height: 50cm (20in). Spread: 20cm (8in).
