& Cranberry Pilgrim 9cm Potted Plant x 2

Discover the charm of Cranberry 'Pilgrim', an evergreen delight that not only beautifies your garden but also offers a bounty of tart, dark-red berries. Its cascading growth makes it perfect for trailing down from hanging baskets or spilling over the edges of containers. Delicate pink flowers precede the berries, creating a picturesque display that transitions beautifully into winter when the berries persist alongside the bronze foliage. This variety is not just a visual treat but also a culinary delight, adding zing to dishes, making preserves, or crafting traditional cranberry sauce. Cranberry 'Pilgrim' thrives in well-drained, acidic soils and prefers sunny to semi-shaded positions. If your garden lacks naturally acidic soil, consider planting in patio containers filled with a mix of ericaceous compost and John Innes No. 3. With an estimated time to first cropping as short as 4-8 months and optimal yields within 16-20 months, this versatile plant promises both aesthetic appeal and practical use in your garden or kitchen. How to Grow Instructions: Light: Plant in full sun to part shade. Temperature: Hardy and adaptable but prefers cooler climates. Watering: Keep soil consistently moist, especially during fruiting. Feeding: Fertilize lightly in spring with ericaceous plant food. Humidity: Thrives in moderate humidity; mist occasionally indoors. Images shown are for guidance only and show the expected results of plants upon maturity.
