Thompson & Morgan Spiraea Japonica Golden Princess 9cm Potted Plant X 3

Spiraea japonica 'Golden Princess' is a striking deciduous shrub that brings year-round interest to the garden with its ever-changing foliage and soft, rosy-pink flowers. In spring, the ovate leaves emerge with a warm reddish-bronze tint, maturing to rich golden-yellow in summer and finishing with red tones in autumn. Its flattened clusters of blooms appear in late summer, creating a vibrant contrast against the foliage and attracting bees and butterflies in abundance. This compact, bushy shrub is incredibly easy to grow and makes a perfect choice for mixed borders, cottage gardens, or pollinator-friendly planting schemes. As a recipient of the RHS Award of Garden Merit and recognised on the RHS ‘Plants for Pollinators’ list, Golden Princess is a reliable and ornamental addition to any garden. It requires minimal maintenance, making it ideal for both beginner and experienced gardeners alike. How to Grow: Light: Thrives in full sun for best foliage colour and flowering. Temperature: Fully hardy in UK conditions. Watering: Water regularly until established; prefers moist, well-drained soil. Feeding: Apply a general-purpose fertiliser in spring. Humidity: Tolerates average outdoor humidity; avoid overly dry or soggy sites. Images shown are for guidance only and show the expected results of plants upon maturity.
