Thompson & Morgan Modiolastrum Lateritium 9cm Potted Plant X 1

Bring something truly unique to your garden with Modiolastrum lateritium, a rare and eye-catching semi-evergreen perennial. Its creeping stems carry softly lobed, slightly hairy green leaves, forming dense, weed-suppressing mats of foliage. From early summer through to autumn, this plant is smothered in delicate, cup-shaped flowers in peach-pink tones, each with a deep pink halo encircling a golden centre – a charming sight in borders, containers, or rockeries. Highly versatile and drought-tolerant once established, Modiolastrum lateritium thrives in free-draining, light soils and loves sunny, sheltered positions. Ideal for gravel gardens, dry banks, and edging, it can also cascade beautifully from patio containers or be trained to climb with support. In milder UK areas it will remain semi-evergreen, while in cooler regions it can be overwintered in frost-free conditions. Its attractive foliage and long flowering season make it a superb choice for adding colour, texture, and groundcover to your outdoor spaces. How to GrowLight: Full sun for best flowering.
