10 x 2ft Golden Privet Evergreen Hedging Plants

Golden Privet Hedging is a wonderful choice for a hedge. With small variegated golden yellow and green leaves throughout the year, it offers privacy, reduces noise and looks stunning. If left untrimmed Golden Privet has small creamy white flowers in the spring with a beautiful fresh floral scent. Golden Privet will grow up to 30 - 40cm per year and can be trimmed into a nice tight hedge - we recommend you trim once a year in Autumn to keep the foliage dense. Golden Privet is evergreen and keeps most of its leaves on over the winter providing shelter and year-round screening. It is non thorny and wildlife friendly - providing great habitat for birds and insects. Golden Privet sometimes drops its leaves as a response to being transplanted. The new leaves will be waiting to come out in spring and once established in your garden it will remain evergreen. We recommend 5 plants per metre in a double zig-zag row for a thick hedge, but you can get away with 3-4 per metre in a staggered row if you don't mind waiting an extra year or two to form a thick hedge. Keep them well watered - especially in the Spring and Summer in the first year of planting. If you are not sure how many plants you need or which varieties suit your garden please just contact or call us and we will be happy to offer friendly advice. For best results plant with Rootgrow gel - it increases the growth rate by up to 50% and really helps the plants establish. Many apologies but due to a change in the DEFRA plant health regulations following Brexit we cannot ship plants to Northern Ireland - we are working on this and hope a solution is found soon. | F&G Supplies 10 x 2ft Golden Privet (Ligustrum Aureum) Evergreen Hedging Plants in Yellow
