Arthur Bell 1 x Plant

Golden Flowers with a Wonderful Fragrance Strongly fragrant golden-yellow flowers Blooms gradually fade to creamy yellow Repeat-flowering Floribunda Excellent for borders, large pots and cutting RHS Award of Garden Merit Golden-yellow flowers and a wonderful fragrance have made ‘Arthur Bell’ an enduring garden favourite. The large, cupped flowers open bright golden yellow before gradually fading to creamy yellow, so you'll often see several shades on the plant at the same time, standing out against its glossy green foliage. Fragrance is one of its real strengths. The flowers have a strong, rich rose scent, making this a particularly good choice for planting near a patio, path or seating area where you can enjoy the perfume. The blooms are also excellent for cutting if you'd like to bring a few stems indoors. ‘Arthur Bell’ forms an upright, bushy Floribunda and produces further flushes of flowers through summer and into autumn. Its manageable size works well through the middle of a sunny border and it can also be grown in a substantial patio container.
