Vivienne Westwood is a British luxury fashion house founded in 1971, largely responsible for bringing punk and new wave fashion into the mainstream. Dame Vivienne Westwood (1941-2022) and Malcolm McLaren opened their first shop at 430 Kings Road, London, which became the birthplace of punk fashion and dressed the Sex Pistols. Today, the brand remains one of the last independent global fashion companies, led by Andreas Kronthaler as Creative Director. With approximately 688 employees and 102 stores across 17 countries, Vivienne Westwood continues to create thought-provoking designs that challenge convention while championing environmental and human rights causes.
