Model 341 features a distinctive locating spur on the straight leg, enhancing positioning accuracy and stability during measurements. Constructed from polished tool steel, this caliper incorporates a large headed nut and screw assembly that guarantees a firm and rigid friction joint with no play. The offset leg holds a round adjustable hardened point for versatile measuring capabilities. The effective leg length is measured from the joint assembly, with the caliper's capacity generally 1/3 greater than this measurement.
