Firm Joint Inside Caliper 150mm

The Moore & Wright Firm Joint Inside Caliper is a precision measuring instrument manufactured from polished tool steel for accurate internal dimension measurement. Designed for engineering, machining and metalworking applications, this caliper features a large headed nut and screw assembly that provides a firm and rigid friction joint with no play, ensuring consistent measurements. The effective leg length of 150mm (6in) refers to the measurement from the joint assembly, with the actual measuring capacity typically extending approximately 1/3 greater than this stated leg length. This firm joint design allows the caliper to hold its position securely once adjusted, making it ideal for transferring internal measurements to rules or gauges. Manufactured to BS3123 standards, this inside caliper delivers reliable performance for measuring internal diameters, bore dimensions and slot widths. The polished tool steel construction provides durability and corrosion resistance, whilst the precision joint mechanism ensures repeatable accuracy for quality control and inspection tasks.
