Seed Potato Charlotte 1 x Tubers

Home grower's favourite Good-sized salad type Used at top tables Second Early Potatoes ‘Charlotte’ is a firm favourite among home growers and is ideal for salads. It’s loved for its excellent uniform shallow-eyed, long-oval tubers which can grow up to 50% bigger than other salad varieties. It is a versatile choice for the kitchen, with its tender, creamy-yellow flesh remaining very firm with a mouth-watering texture whether hot or in salads. We recommend growing this variety in trenches if you have an allotment, or if short of space in a gro-sack which can be positioned in sunny patios near the house. ‘Charlotte’ is a high yielding crop that will be ready from June. With blight resistance, and not particularly attractive to slugs, this variety is a great selection for organic growers who want to avoid using chemicals.
