Schleich was founded in 1935 and since then has become a renound producer of high quality hand painted figurines which are enjoyed by children and adults the world over. With lions, it is almost exclusively the females that go hunting. Many of their prey are fast so they first creep up to a few metres from different sides and then sprint towards their prey.
