BÉIS (pronounced base) is a travel brand founded in October 2018 by actress and entrepreneur Shay Mitchell, best known for Pretty Little Liars and You. The brand started when Mitchell drew her ideal travel bag on a cocktail napkin during a flight, noting features like a key leash and suitcase strap. Partnering with Beach House Group, BÉIS launched with weekenders and luggage, featuring signature colours including creamy Beige and viral bubblegum Atlas Pink. TikTok propelled the brand to fame through endorsements of their Weekender Bag. Growing over 200% in its first year and nearing $200 million in profitable gross revenue by end of 2023, BÉIS has expanded to include lines for travelling parents, children, babies, and pets.
