Ryman is committed to reducing their environmental impact, having worked with Carbon Trust to assess their carbon footprint. They use carbon neutral suppliers for marketing and packaging materials, with all cardboard and plastic waste recycled. LED lighting is being rolled out across stores and warehouses. All stores offer free ink and toner cartridge recycling (50p discount per cartridge) and battery recycling. They stock an extensive eco-friendly product range including pens made from recycled bottles, 100% recycled paper products, and biodegradable packaging. Ryman also developed the Ryman Eco font, which uses 33% less ink than standard fonts.
