XGIMI is a smart projector manufacturer founded in November 2013 in Chengdu, China by Zhong Bo (Apollo Zhong), Xiao Shi, Liu Zhiming, Liao Yang, and Yin Lei. Zhong Bo saw an opportunity to create portable, high-quality, and user-friendly projection solutions. Receiving financing from Baidu Ventures, MatrixPartners China, and others, XGIMI ranked first in China's projector market according to IDC, accounting for 21.2% market share - nearly the sum of the remaining top four brands combined. Now selling in over 127 markets including the US, Singapore, and India, XGIMI went public on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2021. Chairman Zhong Bo aims to make XGIMI the world's largest intelligent projector manufacturer.
