The International Personal Trainer Academy, or IPTA, was established to fill a crucial gap in the fitness industry: the need for high-quality, effective study materials and certifications. Recognising that many aspiring personal trainers struggled with low exam pass rates, IPTA's president, Martin, spearheaded the creation of a programme designed for success. In 2023, IPTA launched its own Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certification, an NCCA accredited programme overseen by an autonomous Certification Council to maintain rigorous standards.
