T. H. Baker

T.H. Baker is a family-run jeweller founded in 1888 by Thomas Henry Baker, a watchmaker and jeweller from Calne in Wiltshire. He established his first shop in Brierley Hill in the West Midlands, where the company's headquarters remain to this day over 135 years later. The business has been passed through five generations, with the founding values of "good value and quality of service unmatched by rivals" still guiding operations today. The company demonstrated remarkable resilience during the depression of the late 1920s, supporting loyal staff through difficult times with no job losses. Today, T.H. Baker operates a network of 21 stores across the Midlands and southern England, including established PANDORA boutiques. As authorised retailers, they offer renowned watch brands including OMEGA, TAG Heuer, Breitling, Longines, and Tissot, alongside fine jewellery and gifts. Now led by great-great-grandson Phil Higgs along with his father Alan and brother Andrew, T.H. Baker continues the family tradition of exceptional service. Recent acquisitions of Goldsmiths stores from Watches of Switzerland Group demonstrate their ongoing commitment to growth and excellence.
