Susan Caplan is a London-based seller of vintage designer jewellery, started in 2008 by its namesake founder. Raised among antique collectors, she worked in antiques before launching the business, and the brand says she personally approves each piece for authenticity, quality and condition before it is listed.
According to the company, its collections have been sold through the Victoria and Albert Museum shop, The Metropolitan Museum of Art shop in New York, Mappin & Webb and Net-a-Porter. The stock covers around eight decades of costume and designer jewellery.

Next-day and Saturday services cost £9.99 each, with a 2pm cut-off (Friday for Saturday delivery). Bank holiday deliveries and PO box addresses are not available. Overseas rates range from £9.99 to £29.99 depending on the region, cost nothing on orders over £350 and already include customs and duty charges for most destinations.
Pieces can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund, an exchange or a credit note valid for 12 months. Returned jewellery must be unworn and in its original condition, post earrings cannot be returned, and the original delivery charge is not refunded. Refunds are processed within 14 working days of the item being inspected.
