Secret Sales is a London-registered online marketplace for reduced-price fashion and lifestyle brands. It began in 2007 by running time-limited online brand events and changed direction in 2020 under new ownership. The website is operated by Lifestyle Retail Group Online Ltd (company 06264879), but each purchase is made from the third-party seller that lists the item.
According to its About page, the catalogue grew from about 100 brands in 2020 to more than 2,000. Sellers send out their own stock, so a single order can arrive in several parcels, and the expected delivery date is shown beside the add-to-basket button on each product.
Delivery costs a flat £2.99 per order, however many parcels it is split into. Standard delivery takes 3 to 5 days, some items arrive in 1 to 3 days and a small number take 5 to 7. Secret Sales delivers only to addresses in mainland UK and Northern Ireland, and runs separate websites for Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and Sweden.
Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase for items in their original condition with labels attached. Each return costs £4.00 per order, even when the order came from several sellers. Underwear, opened beauty products and perfume, pierced jewellery with a broken seal and watches that have been adjusted cannot be returned, and damaged deliveries should be reported within 14 days.
Students can verify through Student Beans on the Secret Sales student page, and NHS workers verify through GoCertify on a separate page. Category pages also group stock into price bands such as under £20 and under £50.
Secret Sales was founded in 2007.
