Red Letter Days was founded in 1989 by Rachel Elnaugh at the age of 24, after she creatively packaged cricket tickets as a gift for her father. Seeing the opportunity to package intangible experiences as gifts, she established what would become a pioneering concept in the gift industry.
Starting as a mail-order business, Red Letter Days offered unique "experience" gifts including tank driving and aircraft flying lessons. The company gained national recognition when Elnaugh appeared as an original investor on the BBC's Dragons' Den.
Now owned by Moonpig Group alongside Buyagift, Red Letter Days is based in Farringdon, London. The company continues to offer a wide range of experiences including car racing, skydiving, hot air ballooning, spa days, and thousands more adventures.
