The brand was established over 40 years ago when Patrick, originally a baker, carved a pair of earrings for his wife Catja while recuperating from illness. When a local hairdresser saw the pieces and asked for a pair, an international business was born. Their four sons - Alexander, Forbes, Patrick Jr., and Benjamin - grew up immersed in the magical environment of their father's studio in the Umwimsi Valley in Zimbabwe. Every piece is hand-crafted in Zimbabwe and Mauritius by highly skilled African craftspeople.
