Nixon is an American watches and accessories brand founded in 1997 in Encinitas, California by Andy Laats and Chad DiNenna. What started as a boutique line of watches exclusively sold at board sports and fashion retailers has grown into a full range of watches, bags, leather goods, and accessories available in over 90 countries.

Nixon has been the premium lifestyle accessory brand of choice for independents, creatives, and free-thinkers worldwide. The brand produces both digital and analog wristwatches for men and women, with movements from Japan and Switzerland. Iconic models including the Nixon Time Teller and Nixon 51-30 Chrono are regularly updated with new colours and materials.

Understanding environmental responsibility, Nixon has introduced sustainability initiatives with four best-selling models now made from recycled plastic material—their first step in fighting water pollution. The brand also offers customisation for US and Canadian customers, allowing them to build unique watches by selecting cases, dials, chronograph hands, and bands.

Nixon was acquired by Billabong International in 2006 for approximately $55 million before becoming independent again in 2012 through a partnership with Trilantic Capital Partners. Today, Nixon maintains global offices in California, France, and Australia while selling through retail partners and online.
