GORUCK is an American sporting equipment company founded in 2008 by Jason McCarthy, a former Green Beret, and his wife Emily, who worked in the CIA. The company began in war-torn West Africa with the goal of building rucksacks with life-or-death quality standards that would thrive in Baghdad and NYC.
