Gilbert Rugby is a rugby equipment brand with a history going back to 1823, when William Gilbert, a cobbler in the town of Rugby, started making balls with his nephew James for the neighbouring school, according to Wikipedia. The brand belongs to Grays of Cambridge, and its UK web store at gilbertrugby.com gives Robertsbridge, England, as its location.
The shop also carries replica and supporter balls for the Men's Rugby World Cup 2027, and clubs can enquire about custom balls, teamwear and pitch kit.
Orders to the UK mainland ship free once they pass £15. Parcels go by tracked UPS or DPD and normally reach the customer 2 working days after the dispatch day that each product page counts down to. Personalised items need extra preparation, Highlands and island addresses take longer, and Channel Islands and other Crown dependency deliveries are charged. EU orders over €50 travel free, with a €20 flat rate below that, and orders to the United States are capped at £600 because of tariff changes.
UK shoppers can open a free return with a prepaid UPS label in the self-service returns centre for up to 30 days from receipt. Goods must come back unused with their tags and packaging. Personalised products are returnable only when faulty, exchanges are not offered, and refunds go to the original payment method. Most products carry a 6-month guarantee against faults under a fair wear and tear policy.
