FuelHub is a meal prep company based in Warrington that cooks high-protein, calorie-counted meals and delivers them chilled to homes around the UK. Michelle and James Laithwaite founded it in 2019, and the company says it has sold more than 3 million meals since then. A separate Pro service caters for sports teams, athletes and employers.
According to the company, nutritionists design the recipes and development chefs cook them, and every meal lists its protein and calories. Meals heat in about 3 minutes and keep for up to 7 days in the fridge, or until the date on the pack if that is sooner. Vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free dishes are available, but halal meals are not. The business is also the nutrition partner of Matchroom Boxing.
Each box arrives by DPD between 8am and 8pm on the shopper's chosen day, Wednesday or Sunday, and delivery costs £6.95. The help pages say deliveries cover the UK "excluding Ireland and Highland Scotland". Subscriptions have no contract and can be paused or cancelled online; changes made by 8pm five days before the delivery day avoid that week's charge.
