Crown Paints is a British paint manufacturer headquartered in Darwen, Lancashire, with a second base in Coolock, Dublin. The business traces its Darwen history back to 1777 and has been owned by the Danish coatings group Hempel since June 2011. Its UK online shop sells Crown and Sandtex paint direct to householders, while a separate trade site serves professional decorators.
Shades can be browsed by colour family, by room and by decorating style, and the site provides a downloadable colour chart, safety data sheets and a stockist finder. Crown has publicly committed to reaching net zero emissions by 2050.

Weekday orders placed before 12pm go out for next-day delivery with FedEx; later orders and those placed at weekends or on bank holidays are dispatched on the next working day. Postcodes in the Scottish Highlands and islands pay £9.99, which drops to nothing on orders above £100. Crown does not deliver to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Isles of Scilly, the Channel Islands or PO boxes, and A5 colour samples travel separately at no charge.
Unwanted paint can be returned within 28 days of purchase if it is unopened, unused and undamaged in its original packaging, with proof of purchase. The customer pays the return costs, and refunds reach the original payment method within 14 working days. Damaged deliveries are reported through an online form, after which the Customer Relations Team arranges the next step.
