About Clarkes Golf

Clarkes Golf is a family golf business on Mill Lane in Rainford, St Helens, started by PGA professional David Clarke more than 40 years ago. The company behind it, Trade Golf Supplies Limited (Companies House 01971727), was incorporated in December 1985 as David Clarke Euro Golf Services Limited, and it sells online at clarkesgolf.co.uk in pounds.

Beyond the website, the business says it runs three golf shops in the North West of England, a driving range, a custom fitting suite, a par 3 course and a championship mini golf course. Its site also lists a location at Formby Golf Centre in Southport.

What Clarkes Golf sells

• Drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, iron sets, wedges, chippers and putters, sorted by loft and by player, including left-handed, ladies' and junior clubs
• Recent club families such as TaylorMade Qi4D, Ping G440, Titleist GTS woods, Callaway Quantum and Srixon ZXi
• Men's, ladies' and junior golf clothing, from polos and mid layers to waterproofs, from Galvin Green, J.Lindeberg, Under Armour and others
• Golf shoes, bags, trolleys, GPS devices, balls, gloves and headwear

According to Clarkes Golf, its website shows live stock, so anything listed as in stock is already in its own warehouse and can go out for next-day delivery. It describes itself as an authorised stockist of brands including TaylorMade, Titleist, Callaway and FootJoy, and custom fittings and lessons can be booked through the site.
