About Blade and Rose

Blade & Rose was founded in 2010 by entrepreneurial mother Amanda Peffer during maternity leave, named after her children's middle names. Inspired by her daughter's leggings constantly riding up, Amanda invested £100 in a prototype featuring fun designs on the bottom. After selling out immediately at independent children's stores, the family business grew to operate in 33 countries with multiple parenting awards. Husband Jon handles distribution and international development while Amanda leads design.
