Avoid both complete root-ball drying and persistently wet soil. Feeding & pruning Use suitable bonsai fertiliser at the recommended dilution while growing. Trim shoots gently to maintain the canopy. Roots are sensitive to disturbance, so plan repotting carefully in warm growing conditions. Winter care Keep warm and frost-free, with the best available daylight.
