Peat-free and carbon-neutral blend Enriched with Carbon Gold Biochar® Supports strong root and shoot growth Perfect for potting on young plants Westland John Innes Peat Free No.2 Potting-On Compost is expertly formulated to support healthy development in young plants as they’re moved into larger pots. This premium blend offers the perfect structure and nutrient balance to promote strong roots and vibrant top growth, ideal for building plant resilience as they mature. About Carbon Gold Biochar® Now enriched with Carbon Gold Biochar®, this fine-grade, highly porous charcoal helps lock in moisture and nutrients while providing a natural habitat for beneficial microbes. These microbes help boost plant health and improve resistance to pests and diseases, giving your plants the best possible start. Made from loam for stability, sand and grit for drainage, and added potassium humate for root stimulation, this compost is both peat-free and carbon-neutral. The biochar element stores carbon during production, and by including it in this blend, we’re helping create more sustainable growing options for gardeners everywhere. Use when potting on young plants for a nutrient-rich, environmentally conscious foundation. For continued healthy growth, feed regularly with a high-quality plant food.
