Its peat-free, carbon-neutral formula combines traditional John Innes loam with carefully selected ingredients to create the ideal balance of moisture retention, drainage and nutrient availability. Enriched with Carbon Gold biochar, this compost helps improve root contact, retain moisture and hold nutrients within the growing media, releasing them as plants need them. Added zinc complex supports healthy establishment and encourages stronger, more vigorous growth, while the inclusion of sand and grit promotes excellent drainage to help roots thrive. Suitable for use all year round, this premium compost is ideal for potting on seedlings and young plants, and is perfect for growing vegetables, fruit, flowers and herbs. For continued healthy growth, feed regularly with a suitable all-purpose plant feed designed for peat-free composts.
