The Wera Kraftform Kompakt A VDE Insulated 712 i SB is a specialist adapter blade designed to extend the versatility of Wera's Kraftform Kompakt VDE insulated screwdriver system for safe live electrical work. The adapter converts a 9 mm external hexagon blade mounting to a 1/4" external square drive head, allowing compatible Wera Kraftform Kompakt VDE bladeholding screwdrivers to accept insulated 1/4" sockets and 1/4" bit sockets. This makes it an ideal accessory for electricians who need the flexibility of socket drive tooling while working within a fully insulated system. Safe working at voltages up to 1,000 V is assured, with each adapter individually tested at 10,000 V in accordance with IEC 60900 — the internationally recognised standard for insulated hand tools used in electrical installations.
