8796SC Zyklop 1 2" Drive Flexible Locking Socket Extension Bar

The Wera 8796SC Zyklop is a 1/2" drive socket extension bar featuring an innovative flexible-lock mechanism and free-turning sleeve for professional use. This 125mm extension is designed for tradespeople who need secure socket retention with the flexibility to quickly change tools during demanding work. The flexible-lock system allows you to toggle between two operating modes: when activated, sockets are permanently secured to prevent accidental loss during overhead work or in tight spaces. When deactivated, sockets can be rapidly attached and exchanged to maintain workflow efficiency. This versatility makes it ideal for automotive mechanics, plant maintenance engineers, and contractors working across varied applications. The integrated free-turning sleeve accelerates the tightening and loosening process for repetitive fastening tasks, reducing hand fatigue during extended use. Constructed from chrome vanadium steel with a matt chrome-plated finish, this extension bar is compatible with 1/2" square sockets fitted with ball lock mechanisms, ensuring broad compatibility with existing socket sets.
