1440 1442SB VDE Screw Gripper Set

The Wera 1440/1442SB VDE Screw Gripper Set is a practical attachment tool designed to hold screws securely on VDE screwdriver blades during installation work. This two-piece set provides reliable screw retention across a range of common screw sizes, making it ideal for overhead work, awkward positions, or any application where maintaining screw placement is challenging. Manufactured from durable elastomer material, these screw grippers accommodate all standard screw profiles and sizes within their specified ranges. The gripper slides along the screwdriver blade during use, allowing it to be pushed upwards when working with low-lying or recessed screws. This sliding functionality ensures the gripper remains out of the way once the screw is engaged, whilst still providing secure retention during positioning. The set is particularly suited for electrical installation work, maintenance tasks in confined spaces, and any situation where single-handed screw driving is required. Each gripper fits specific blade and screw size ranges, ensuring compatibility with commonly used VDE screwdrivers.
