The gel penetrates the skin to deliver relief directly to the affected area. Its soothing, cooling, non-greasy and non-staining formula helps relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and restore movement. Non-greasy, non-staining formula with a soothing cooling effect. Ingredients What are the active ingredients? Active ingredient: Diclofenac Diethylammonium 1.16% w/w. Also contains: Diethylamine, carbomers, cetomacrogol, cocoyl caprylocaprate, isopropyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, perfume creme 45 (containing benzyl benzoate), propylene glycol, purified water. Ingredients Usage How to use Voltarol Osteoarthritis Joint Pain Relief Gel 1.16% 100g Read the package leaflet before use. Use an amount the size of a one penny or two penny piece and rub gently 3-4 times into the skin over the affected area daily. Massage the gel into the skin over the affected site. Wash hands after use unless they are the site being treated. Do not use this medicine for more than 21 days unless longer treatment is recommended by a doctor. If the pain and swelling do not improve within 7 days, or if they get worse, tell your doctor. The gel can be applied to a maximum of two joints. If you need to apply the gel to more than 2 joints, consult your doctor. Do not use more than 100 g of Voltarol Osteoarthritis Joint Pain Relief Gel in one week. Usage Warnings Precautions to consider before using Voltarol Osteoarthritis Joint Pain Relief Gel 1.16% 100g Do not use if you are allergic to diclofenac, aspirin, or other NSAIDs, or have previously had an allergic reaction to these ingredients. Do not use if you have ever had an asthma attack, wheezing, hives, or runny nose after taking these ingredients. Do not use if you are taking diclofenac or other NSAIDs such as aspirin or ibuprofen. Do not use on children under 14 years of age. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using if you have a stomach or duodenal ulcer, or are pregnant or breast-feeding. Do not apply to cuts, wounds, sunburned skin, abnormal skin areas, or near the eyes or nose. Do not cover with a bandage or plaster. Do not use if the seal is broken.
