What Lies Beneath

What Lies Beneath (2000) follows Claire Spencer (Michelle Pfeiffer), a woman who believes her Vermont lakeside home is haunted by a ghost. Her scientist husband, Norman (Harrison Ford), dismisses her terror as empty-nest syndrome and a coping mechanism for a past car accident. However, as the supernatural events escalate, she discovers the terrifying truth: the spirit is Norman's murdered former student, and he is the killer.
