Aluminium Hammer A312

The Thor A312 Aluminium Hammer is a soft-faced hammer designed for engineering tasks requiring a heavy blow without surface damage. This professional-grade tool features a robust malleable iron head fitted with two cylindrical ductile aluminium faces and a traditional wooden handle. The replaceable aluminium faces are engineered to wear over time while protecting the workpiece, making this hammer ideal for assembly, repair and maintenance operations. The malleable iron head provides the necessary weight and striking force, whilst the soft aluminium faces prevent damage to most materials being struck, even in relatively small striking areas. Weighing 950g (34oz), this hammer serves as a practical alternative to copper-faced hammers in general engineering applications. The 38mm diameter faces deliver concentrated force where precision is required, making it suitable for metalworking, mechanical fitting and other precision trade applications where component protection is essential.

Features and Benefits:

• Replaceable ductile aluminium faces designed to wear rather than damage workpieces
• Malleable iron head combines weight for powerful striking with controlled impact
• Wooden handle provides traditional grip and shock absorption
• Suitable alternative to copper hammers in engineering environments
