An easy to grow Poppy which will produce strong tall stems with rich red blooms from June until August. Ideal for cottage, wildlife and cut flower gardens – for best garden performance grow in a sunny spot. Sow thinly just below the surface in well cultivated soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. When large enough to handle, thin seedlings to 15-30cm (6-12in) apart. Removing spent flower heads will encourage further blooming. Caution: harmful if eaten.
