Papaver rhoeas Supreme is a unique summer flowering poppy which adds real elegance to garden borders. Bred by Thompson and Morgan this variety produces double frilly blooms which range from pink – orange to white. Sun loving this Poppy will flower for twice as long as a traditional annual Poppy making it a popular choice in cottage garden planting schemes. Direct sow Poppy seeds outdoors where they are to grow in spring or autumn. Choose a position in full sun on fertile, well drained soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Sow seeds thinly, just below the soil surface. Water the ground regularly, especially during dry periods. Germination usually takes 7 - 14 days.
