This colourful mixture of Petunias is sure to create a showy summertime display in your borders! Petunia 'Colour Parade' is a blend of 20 different types of flowers, some pure colours, some with white stars, some with picotee edges and others with darker veins. The wide range of colours and textures in this mixture of half-hardy annuals make a stunning addition to your garden. Sow from February to April at 21-27C (70-80F) on the surface of a good seed compost and gently firm down. Keep soil moist but not wet. Do not exclude light, sealing in a polythene bag after sowing is helpful. Germination usually takes 10-21 days. When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant and grow on in cooler conditions. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 30cm (12in) apart in a sunny spot on light well drained soil. For pot plants, baskets and containers, transplant the seedlings into 7.5cm (3in) pots, grow cool, well ventilated and give plenty of light, but shade from direct sun.
