Eryngium giganteum 'Miss Willmott's Ghost' is a Sea Holly that thrives on well-drained soils and will look great in gravel gardens or dotted among swaying grasses for a dramatic contrast. The architectural flower-cones are encircled by a spikey, ornate bract and the pale silver-green stems rise above heart-shaped foliage. This biennial or short-lived perennial will happily self-seed over the years to produce stunning drifts. Ideal for cottage gardens, wildlife gardens, cut flower garden and coastal gardens. The tall stems are loved by pollinating insects, who benefit from their nectar-rich blooms, and also make a stunning addition to dried flower arrangements.
