This fantastic collection of three hostas, comprising ‘Wide Brim’, ‘Great Expectations’ and ‘Guacamole’ will brighten any shady spot in your garden with their beautiful foliage. These three varieties look great all planted together with their contrasting foliage, their lush leaves forming neat, dense rounded clumps which provide a very long season of colour, starting from spring and lasting right through to late autumn. As an added bonus, during summer each plant produces upright stems bearing pretty funnel-shaped flowers which are loved by bees and other pollinating insects. This is a useful collection for growing in a damp, shady spot. They’re happy to be planted in pots, making them a great choice for a shady patio or courtyard garden. Grow Hosta plants in sun or dappled shade, on rich, moist, well-drained soil. Before planting, work some fresh compost or general fertiliser into the top 20cm of the soil.
