Oenothera biennis is better known as Evening Primrose. This biennial wildflower is a magnet for pollinating insects, with an upright, bushy habit and fragrant yellow, cup-shaped blooms in summer. A great choice for sunny positions on light, sandy soils, once established, plants will self-seed to create drifts of plants. A fabulous addition to wildlife areas and wildflower planting schemes, where it creates a naturalistic effect.
