Plant spring-flowering Crocus bulbs during autumn in large clumps at a depth of approximately 10cm (4") and space them around 7cm (3") apart. Alternatively, grow the bulbs in containers or naturalise them in grass. After flowering, allow the strap-like foliage to die back naturally.
