How to Grow Grow Crocus in any well-drained garden soil in full sun or semi shade. Plant spring-flowering Crocus bulbs in autumn, placing them in large groups at a depth of approximately 10cm (4") and 7cm (3") apart. Crocus 'Botanical Mixed' can also be grown in containers or naturalised in grass. After flowering, allow the strap-like foliage to die back naturally.
